CCI Standard Primers BR2 Large Rifle 1000/ct

CCI Standard Primers BR2 are large rifle match primers made for precision ignition when you reload long-range and benchrest competition loads. Each box holds 1000 primers and CCI assembles the BR2 with extra care. The standout payoff is consistency: every primer lights your charge the same way shot after shot.

The BR2 is CCI's bench rest large rifle primer sized to seat in standard large rifle primer pockets. That makes it a direct fit for the large rifle cartridges reloaders build for competition and precise field work. When you chase tight groups at distance ignition matters as much as your powder and bullet choice.

A primer is the small cup that ignites when the firing pin strikes it sending a flame into the powder charge to start the shot. In match shooting small differences in ignition can open or tighten a group. Serious reloaders treat primer choice as a real part of the load recipe.

Consistent ignition is what keeps velocity spreads low and low spreads are what benchrest and long-range shooters want to see on paper. CCI says these primers are engineered to fire reliably in tough competition conditions and deliver top-tier accuracy in long-range competition loads. Assembled with extra care for superior consistency they give you one less variable to manage during a careful load workup.

Load them into your prepped large rifle brass seat them square and to depth then confirm your results at the range. The 1000-count box gives high-volume match reloaders plenty of runway to keep a favorite load recipe stocked through a full season of practice and matches. stocks the BR2 alongside the powders brass bullets and tools that round out a large rifle load workup.
